Application
Used for site measurement of soil resistance to penetration.
General description and specifications
Designed for the accurate classification of cohesive soils in terms
of consistency. This value can be read directly in MN/m2 on the dial
gauge. The model 40-T161 is supplied with 5 stainless plungers 6.35,
10, 15, 20, 25 mm dia. and is also used for evaluating the angle of
internal friction of sandy soils and the cohesion in clay soils.
The dials have a max. value holding system with zero setting by push
button.
